From Dirt Yard to Backyard Oasis

A completely bare dirt backyard is now a beautiful outdoor space this family can enjoy every day.

For this Las Vegas backyard transformation, our goal was to create a clean, comfortable, and low maintenance landscape while staying within the homeowner’s budget. Every part of the design was planned to make the yard feel complete, connected, and practical for the entire family, including their dogs.

We installed 465 square feet of premium Viridian Green artificial turf to create two inviting lawn areas. ZeoFill pet odor protection was added to help keep the turf fresh and make the space easier to maintain.

Nearly 2,000 square feet of Apache Gold decorative rock brought warmth and consistency throughout the property. A new paver walkway now connects the driveway, side gate, backyard, and patio areas, while individual stepping stones guide movement through the landscape.

The planting design includes a Bay Laurel tree, Red Yucca, Yellow Bells, Regal Mist ornamental grass, and Smooth Agave. These plants add color, texture, and height while complementing the desert surroundings. A new drip irrigation system, valve, and timer were installed to provide dependable watering. LED well lights were also placed around key plants to bring the backyard to life after sunset.

The final result is a balanced outdoor space that combines pet friendly turf, desert landscaping, functional walkways, gathering areas, and carefully selected plants. What was once an empty dirt yard is now a backyard the homeowners can truly enjoy and feel proud of.
