This Las Vegas homeowner wanted to keep the green appearance of the front yard without the watering, mowing, and maintenance required by natural grass.

As part of an SNWA grass conversion project, we removed 227 square feet of existing grass from the front and backyard. The front yard was rebuilt with premium 123 ounce multi directional artificial turf, creating a dense and realistic appearance that fits naturally around the existing Palo Verde tree.

The old sprinkler irrigation serving the conversion area was removed and replaced with a new drip system. Netafim irrigation was installed around the Palo Verde to provide efficient and consistent watering without overspray.

In the backyard, a smaller grass area was replaced with large Arizona River Rock. Landscape fabric was installed beneath the new rock to help control future grass and weed growth while allowing water and air to reach the soil.

The finished project keeps the property looking green and welcoming while reducing water use and ongoing maintenance. It is a simple upgrade that makes a major difference in how the home looks and functions.
